Portside Pub & Grille in Sebastian: Chef’s $9.95 Blue Plate Specials

SEBASTIAN – Today we visited the Portside Pub & Grille in Sebastian to try out their new lunch specials. Every day of the week they have a different Chef’s $9.95 Blue Plate Specials of the day.

Their Chef’s $9.95 Blue Plate Specials are as follows:

  • Mon – Jumbo Shrimp Scampi with Pasta
  • Tues – Bangers ‘N’ Mash
  • Wed – Ground Round, Roasties & Veggies
  • Thurs – Chicken Cordon Bleu, Roasties & Veggies
  • Fri – JUMBO Fish & Chips
  • Sat – Maryland Fried Chicken with Fries & Slaw
  • Sun – Hawaiian Stir Fry over Rice

Today was Tuesday, so I ordered the Bangers ‘N’ Mash special. This took me out of my normal comfort zone, as I am a creature of habit and would not usually order this item.

But, I am so glad I did. The Bangers ‘N’ Mash was delicious! It was a large portion of Mashed Potatoes covered in brown gravy, three large bangers (sausages) and green beans on the side.

Next Monday I am going back for their Jumbo Shrimp Scampi with Pasta. I don’t usually eat pasta, but I am sure it will be worth the extra calories.
