The Hen House Eatery offers a full breakfast menu with both indoor and outdoor seating in Sebastian, Florida.

We visited the Hen House last Saturday to check out their food and service. It’s been a while since our last visit, so we thought it would be good to check out the Sebastian restaurant.

We noticed people were sitting at tables outside, and the restaurant was busy inside. We sat down at the only table left inside the breakfast diner. The server gave us menus right away and took our drink order.

We ordered the 2-2-2 menu option for this review. The breakfast option comes with two eggs cooked your way, two pancakes, and your choice of two slices of bacon or sausage. I made a change to the order and opted for Pecan Pancakes instead of the original.

The food arrived hot in a reasonable amount of time. The server provided butter, syrup, and anything else we needed without asking. We didn’t have to wait for anything.

The pecans were cooked inside the pancakes and were very delicious. The eggs were great and cooked as ordered, and the bacon was just the way I like it.

We also listened to other patrons talking about their meals and heard nothing but positive comments. Everyone seemed to enjoy their breakfast at the Hen House.

Our experience was so good that we will be back to revisit them soon.

The only thing I would suggest is that they put a sign up: “Sit wherever you would like,” as many people stood at the door for a while waiting to be seated.

Hours:

They are open Monday – Sunday from 6:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and serve breakfast and lunch.

The Hen House is located at 11632 U.S. Highway 1 in Sebastian, Florida.
