MICCO, Florida – Brevard County Fire Rescue units are currently on the scene of a mobile home fire in Pelican Bay, just south of Barefoot Bay.

While on the scene, a deputy form the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office told Sebastian Daily he thinks the fire started on the porch and spread throughout the home within minutes.

No injuries.

Update:

The fire was caused by batteries in the golf cart parked next to the home. The home is totaled.

Unfortunately, two little dogs died, succumbing to smoke inhalation.
