SEBASTIAN, Florida – The KFC/Taco Bell/Pizza Hut three and one restaurant, located at 809 U.S. Highway 1 in Sebastian, is planning to remodel this summer.
Last December, we published an article on how the KFC/Taco Bell store needs improving and better dining. We then received a call from KBP Foods, which owns the restaurant.
KBP Foods read our article and wanted to let the readers of Sebastian Daily know that they were making improvements immediately.
“I thank you for writing the story as it created a greater sense of urgency around this restaurant. We have a plan to make it one of which the community will be proud,” Anthony Gianino, Vice President of Marketing, told Sebastian Daily.
Since December, we’ve seen a lot of changes at our local KFC/Taco Bell. We’ve gone in on several occasions and noticed the tables were kept clean, and the staff was friendly. We also saw improvements in their drive-thru, including the wait time and the orders.
Last week, we spoke with the company again, and they informed us of their plans to remodel the restaurant. They will begin with the permits this summer.
“Pending permits and other logistics, we expect it to begin this summer, and finish a few weeks later,” Gianino said.
We will continue to follow up and report our findings. If you haven’t been back to the restaurant since December 2017, we encourage you to revisit them. A lot has improved, but there are still significant changes coming this summer.
