Searching for Americans in Kabul

It was heartwarming to see our troops and equipment rolling down the streets of Kabul today, searching for Americans who were left behind.

Wait a minute, what, those weren’t our troops?

As I was saying, it is heartbreaking and infuriating to see our equipment, manned by people in our uniforms, parading through the streets of Kabul, searching for Americans who were left behind.

Politicization of Mask-Wearing

I hail from New York, but with family connections and friends in Sebastian, I read your Sebastian Daily newspaper with interest.

Kudos to you and all the enlightened people of Sebastian for your support of vaccination and mask-wearing. Having lost a cousin (age 56 yrs) who died, alone, in hospital to the virus, I speak with sadness.

The politicization of mask-wearing in Florida is a terrible mistake; It is proved that the shots protect. Those smart enough to get vaccinated are not to be found in hospitals; they are safe. It is the un-vaccinated who fill the wards of your hospitals.

Please, if you can take the shots, do so. If you can’t take the shot because of a compromised immune system, get the mask on, and stay away from public places until this terrible virus is past.

As one who treasures the lives of my sister and her sons and compromised grand chidren, and our Sandy, I ask you follow the advice of Dr. Fauci, and the majority of health care workers, GET VACCINATED.

Church Site for Candidates Forum

Good news. Thank you Sebastian Daily for staying on top of this.  Glad that venue (candidates forum) was moved away from church site due to a strong public opposition to it.

It should had never been planned to be there to begin with.
