The number of new cases in Sebastian and its surrounding areas remains low, approximately 8 to 10 per day, down from 16.

However, the number of deaths after patients contract COVID-19 are still significant concerns in Indian River County and Brevard County. There were 5 deaths reported on Wednesday in Indian River County.

Many people age 65 and older are already receiving their second dosage of the COVID-19 vaccine. We’ll have more data on this later in the week.

Please follow the CDC recommendations and social distance, wear a mask, and wash your hands regularly.

  • Deaths: 232

Brevard County COVID-19 Cases

  • Cases: 30,495
  • Deaths: 656
