Sebastian man commits suicide at neighbor’s home

SEBASTIAN – On Wednesday, officers responded to a call at the 800 block of Lance Street in reference to gunshots being fired.

According to Lt. Wood of the Sebastian Police Department, a man walked across the street to a neighbor’s home and shot himself.

Neighbors reported hearing “a couple of shots” before finding the man deceased.

One neighbor said the man shot the neighbor’s car first, then walked into the front yard where he shot himself.

Police are still investigating.
