The 18th Annual Treasure Coast Waterway Cleanup, a beloved community event dedicated to preserving the region’s pristine waterways, is scheduled for Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 8:00 am – 12:30 pm.
Volunteers in Indian River County will gather at:
- Sebastian Main Street – Capt. Robert Hardee Boat Ramp, Main Street & N. Indian River Dr., Sebastian, FL 32958
- Wabasso Causeway Boat Ramp @ State Road 510
- Vero Beach Municipal Marina, 3611 Rio Vista Blvd., Vero Beach, FL 32963
- Round Island Boat Ramp, 2200 S. Highway A1A, Vero Beach, FL 32963
- Riverside Park Boat Ramp, 350 Dahlia Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32963
Everyone is invited to join, making it a perfect chance for students, yacht clubs, service groups, or anyone dedicated to fighting pollution. Attendees will get a special event T-shirt as a thank you. Participants who submit their data cards for the collected items by July 30, 2025, are also eligible for the post-event raffle.
Sponsored in part by the City of Sebastian, the Natural Resource Board, and numerous other organizations, this year’s cleanup promises to continue its legacy of environmental stewardship.
Since its inception in 2008, the Treasure Coast Waterway Cleanup has mobilized 15,523 volunteers and over 3,350 vessels, successfully removing 104.9 tons of trash from the waters of the Treasure Coast. This year’s event aims to build on that impressive record.
Self-Reporting Cleanups at Waterways of your Choice
For those unable to attend the July 26, 2025 Cleanup, you can do Self-Reporting Cleanups from Saturday, July 19th to Sunday, July 27th. You are encouraged to do a self-reported cleanups at waterways of your choice. Volunteers can join this week-long initiative to make a difference in their local environment.
