SEBASTIAN — St. Sebastian Catholic Church opens St Sebastian Academy, marking an exciting new chapter for the parish and school community.
“With the opening of St. Sebastian Academy, we’re not just opening a new school—we’re making history, Bishop Manuel de Jesús Rodríguez stated. After more than 20 years, the Diocese of Palm Beach once again plants new roots—nurturing our littlest learners in Pre-K3 and Pre-K4 and growing faith from the very beginning,” he added.
St. Sebastian Academy, located at 10860 US Hwy 1, is accepting enrollment for its preschool program and still has limited spots available in both its 3- and 4-year-old classes.
The faith-based Catholic preschool emphasizes academic, social, and spiritual growth in a safe, nurturing setting. Families can choose from several schedule options designed to fit different needs.
For 3-year-olds, the academy offers:
- Two-day (Tuesday/Thursday), three-day (Monday/Wednesday/Friday) or five-day schedules from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Two-day, three-day or five-day schedules from 8 a.m. to noon
4-year-old VPK options: 5-day program:
- 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., covered by the state’s Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) voucher
- 8 a.m. to noon with a lunch option
- 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. full extended day
“A strong Catholic education begins with our youngest learners. This beautiful new learning environment will provide children with a nurturing foundation where they can grow academically, socially, and spiritually while discovering God’s love each day. “ Investing in early childhood education is an investment in the future of our families, our parishes, and our Church,” Bishop Manuel de Jesús Rodríguez said.
