SEBASTIAN — The 5th Annual Pareidolia Open Charity Golf Tournament raised a net total of $11,466 for Little Birthday Angels, Pareidolia Brewing Company co-owner Pete Anderson said.
The event was held July 25 at Sebastian Municipal Golf Course. One hundred percent of the proceeds benefited the organization, which provides birthday celebrations for homeless children living on the Treasure Coast.
A presentation check for $10,500 was displayed at the brewery earlier this month. Additional donations arrived afterward, bringing the final total higher.
“Well that’s pretty epic! Thanks to all of our volunteers, golfers, Pin High & Dixon Golf and all of our generous sponsors, we raised $10,500+ for Little Birthday Angels so they can keep on helping youth from economically challenged families in our community. A special shout out to Dyer Chevrolet for their $3k check,” Anderson said.
“Cheers to everyone for their contributions! See ya next year for more golfing fun,” he added.
