MEOWZA! “Nitro” Needs a Human Roommate

Nitro the cat is our Pet of the Week.

VERO BEACH – H.A.L.O. NO-KILL Rescue Adoption Center in the Indian River Mall has been “home” to Nitro, a beautiful & spunky cat, for over 400+ days, and she is counting each one.

Nitro is a curious cat with beautiful eyes that seem to look right into your heart. Each time a visitor arrives, she is on alert, hoping this human may be just the one to rescue her and give her a furever home.

At just about eight years young, she has many years to love and be loved. If you are looking for a special cat who may climb on to your shoulders to inspect your hairdo, she will amuse you for sure!

While she has been waiting for that special human to be her “best friend,” she has been mastering her computer skills, resting comfortably on any chair that may be available, and inspecting everyone who passes by.

400+ days is far too long for this cat with a unique personality to be living in a shelter. If you stop into the H.A.L.O. Animal Adoption Center in the Indian River Mall (tucked between Victoria’s Secret and Sears), be sure to ask for “Nitro.” A chance encounter may change her life … and yours!

H.A.L.O. is Indian River County’s only no-kill, non-profit animal rescue, and adoption center. It is with the support of the community that H.A.L.O. can continue with its efforts to save the lives of hundreds of animals each year.

Let this be the day that NITRO finds her happy ending!
