Indian River County Waste Recycling Event

SEBASTIAN – Indian River County Solid Waste Disposal District and Waste Management are hosting a free residential recycling event for electronics and household hazardous materials.

The event is scheculed for Jan. 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the North County Pool parking lot. The address is 9450 CR 512 in Sebastian.

Indian River County residents can bring computers, keyboards, media players, monitors, microwave ovens, household cleaners, polishes, pesticides and herbicides, pool chemicals, gasoline, antifreeze, transmission fluid, and propane tanks.

The materials will be safety and securely recycled at the event. There is also a chance to win a free laptop computer, courtesy of NWI Recycling.
