The Indian River County Parks & Recreation Department would like to invite you to the Grand Re-Opening of the Roseland Community Building on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at 10:00 am.
Roseland Women’s Club will provide refreshments.
The Roseland Community Building, built in 1927, has served as a cornerstone of Roseland for almost 100 years.
In 2017, Indian River County undertook a major renovation of the building to address structural and aesthetic issues breathing new life into the historic structure.
On November 17, 2020, the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners hired Kerns Construction & Property Management, Corp. to construct building & site improvements at the Roseland Community Building.
On January 25, 2021, Kerns Construction & Property Management, Corp. began, then commenced work on the project after finding additional termite damage. The Structural Engineer, contractor, and a termite company supplied quotes to provide their respective services to repair the structure.
On March 2, 2021, the Board of County Commissioners approved the additional cost for these services and the building is now complete.
The Roseland Community Building overlooks the St Sebastian River and evokes a feeling of Old Florida, offering space for community meetings, events, and social gatherings.
