VERO BEACH — Treasure Coast travelers can fly nonstop from Vero Beach Regional Airport to four more East Coast cities this week as Breeze Airways rolls out new service, with one-way fares advertised as low as $74.
The first route, Vero Beach to Trenton, New Jersey, began Wednesday. Those flights operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Breeze is listing introductory one-way fares from $74.
Flights to Baltimore and Pittsburgh start Thursday, Oct. 1, and run Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. One-way tickets are advertised from $89 to Baltimore and from $74 to Pittsburgh.
Atlantic City, New Jersey, is next. Service starts Friday, Oct. 2, on Mondays and Fridays, with one-way fares listed from $104.
The additions give Indian River County residents another way to reach the Northeast without driving to Orlando or West Palm Beach and changing planes at a hub. Vero Beach Regional Airport is a short trip for many in Sebastian, Vero Beach and the barrier island.
Breeze has flown from Vero Beach since February 2023. It already sells nonstop tickets to Hartford, Connecticut; Providence, Rhode Island; White Plains and Islip, New York; New Haven, Connecticut; Washington Dulles; and Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina. JetBlue and American Airlines also serve the airport.
The Trenton schedule will shift after the holidays. Beginning Jan. 7, those flights move to Thursdays and Sundays.
Breeze is also selling one-stop BreezeThru tickets from Vero Beach to Burlington, Vermont, starting Oct. 4, and to Provo, Utah, starting Oct. 2. Passengers stay on the same airplane.
“We built Breeze to connect communities the big airlines overlook, and today we’re doing exactly that with these latest additions to our growing footprint,” founder and CEO David Neeleman said when the fall routes were announced in June.
When the Pittsburgh route was announced in May, Neeleman called the Steel City “a great addition to our growing network from Vero Beach.” Spokesman Ryne Williams has described the airline as “the hometown carrier of Vero Beach.”
Breeze flies Airbus A220-300 jets and says it does not charge change or cancellation fees. The lowest advertised prices are promotional “No Flex” fares, limited in number and subject to availability. On several of the new routes, the airline has said the sale fares apply to travel through March 23, 2027.
Tickets are sold at flybreeze.com and through the Breeze Airways app.
The airline, which started flying in 2021, operates more than 300 year-round and seasonal routes to about 91 cities in the United States, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. TIME magazine included Breeze on its TIME100 Most Influential Companies list, and Forbes named it among America’s Best Brands for Value for 2026.
Separately, Breeze has said it will add seasonal nonstop flights from Palm Beach International Airport to Greenville-Spartanburg, South Carolina, beginning Dec. 18.
