SEBASTIAN – Am I the only one that didn’t want to get out of bed this morning? It was raining and thundering throughout the night as a cold front moved into our area.
This morning’s temperature was around 56; then it warmed up to about 60 degrees shortly before noon. The north-northwest winds helped push the rain into Sebastian last night. It will continue to rain Wednesday into the late afternoon.
It’s not a good day for the boat as the National Weather Service has issued a Small Craft Advisory following hazardous conditions on the water. These conditions will continue until Thursday.
For Wednesday tonight, partly cloudy skies with higher winds of 15 to 20 mph. The temperature will be 60 degrees for the overnight.
Thursday will be beautiful with plenty of sunshine and a high near 74 with winds of 15 to 20 mph. The winds will be calmer for Thursday night with low near 54 degrees.
Friday will be partly cloudy with a high near 81 degrees. The overnight low will be 58.
Saturday will be much of the same with a high near 78. The low will be 63 degrees.
Sunday is expected to be beautiful with mostly sunny skies and a high near 81. The low will drop to 63 degrees.
It’s still too early to predict Monday and Tuesday. As of right now, there’s a small chance of rain, but there is plenty of sunshine coming with highs in the 80s! We’ll update the forecast by Sunday.
