VERO BEACH — Indian River County high school students will have a chance to talk with college, university, technical program, and military representatives at a college fair on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Rosewood Magnet School.
The event is open to all Indian River County students interested in mapping out plans after graduation and speaking directly with people who can answer questions about admissions, programs, and next steps.
Who is encouraged to attend:
- Sebastian River High School
- Vero Beach High
- Indian River Charter
- Private schools in Indian River County
- Homeschool students
What students should do at the vendor tables:
- Ask about admissions deadlines for fall 2027
- Ask what GPA, test scores, or dual-enrollment credits they want to see
- Ask about scholarships and Florida Bright Futures
- Ask the military reps about delayed-entry vs. academy vs. ROTC
- Write down the rep’s name and email before leaving the table
Colleges & Universities in attendance will include Florida A&M University, Florida Gulf Coast University, Florida International University, Florida State University, University of Central Florida, University of Florida, University of Miami, Stetson University, Rollins College, Flagler College, Florida Institute of Technology, Florida Atlantic University, and more.
Postsecondary Programs in attendance will include Treasure Coast Technical College, Indian River State College, Military Branches, Universal Technical Institute, and the National Aviation Academy, among others.
