Last week, we visited The Sandwich Shack in Sebastian, and they were waiting on parts for their hood to be repaired. So, they were not serving any hot meals other than hamburgers they were able to cook on a grill. Well, we are happy to report that they are back up and running with hot meals.
While visiting for lunch, I ordered a Shack Favorite: Trifecta Salad. It consisted of iceberg lettuce, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, black olives, croutons, and chicken salad, tuna salad, and egg salad.
It was a lot of food, definitely enough for leftovers. The vegetables were all fresh, and the chicken salad, tuna salad, and egg salad were all tasty.
My husband ordered the Club Sandwich with roast beef on rye. You can also have your choice of turkey, chicken salad, or egg salad. There are also a few bread options to choose from for the Shack Club. He ordered potato chips as his side.
The Club Sandwich met all high expectations. Everything was fresh, and the bacon was slightly crispy, which I think does very well on this kind of sandwich.
All in all, we had a great experience, and we will be going back soon, for a hot meal this time.

Today’s lunch special is a Mahi Rachel with house-made slaw, Swiss cheese, and Thousand Island with grilled Mahi plus a choice of side for $9.50.
The soups of the day are broccoli cheese and Lobster Bisque.
Desserts are Banana nut bread pudding, Shark cupcakes, and triple chocolate brownies. They also have shakes that include new flavors peppermint chocolate chip and pumpkin pie.
