Four restaurants did very well in their recent health inspections in January in and around Sebastian, Florida.
Rib City, located at 5390 S. U.S. Highway 1 in Grant, had 0 (zero) violations on January 23, 2020. A restaurant rarely receives such an outstanding report.
“No violations were observed,” the health inspector wrote in the report about Rib City.
Jersey Mike’s, located at 13513 U.S. Highway 1 in the Riverwalk Shopping Center in Roseland, also did very well on January 27, 2020. They were written up for a dented can, but that’s about it.
“Dented can of spaghetti sauce 6 lbs 8 oz,” the health inspector wrote. The can was thrown away.
Slack Tide Bar and Grill, located at 5890 U.S. Highway 1 in Grant, increased their seating without approval on January 23, 2020. Everything else checked out great for the restaurant.
“No permits were approved for the increased seating or plans for extended building,” the health inspector said.
Outriggers Bar & Grill, located at 4015 Main Street in Micco, increased their seating without approval on January 23, 2020. Everything else checked out good for the bar.
“Spoke with Christy with DOH. She will have to pull file. She counts Benches and picnic tables; they also count as seating. Still has 48 seats. Christy from County is having someone come out to count seats and pull file,” the heath inspector wrote.
There were a few restaurants that got shut down in 2019, so things are off to a good start for 2020.
