Mo-Bay Grill Hands Down Best Meal I’ve Ever Had In Sebastian

Mo-Bay Grill in Sebastian, Florida.

Living in Sebastian for the last 39-years and not being much of a cook, we’ve eaten at every restaurant in Sebastian multiple times. We have eaten at Mo-Bay before, but have always been conservative with what I ordered.

Well, on Tuesday, I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried something I would not usually order. We went into Mo-Bay Grill for lunch around 11:30 am. Johnny, who was our server, promptly met us at the door and showed us to our table.

After looking over the menu for a moment, I asked Johnny what his favorite dishes were at the International Cuisine restaurant. After narrowing it down to 3 items, I asked him his preference once again.

BBQ Baby Back Ribs

We decided that I should have a 1/2 rack of their BBQ Baby Back Ribs. You can choose from jerk, mild, or spicy sauce. Johnny recommended the spicy sauce and brought me out a sample to try. It was spicy, but also delicious, so that is what I chose. It came with two sides; I went with sweet potatoes and cucumber salad.

She-Crab Bisque

While waiting on my main course, my husband and I each enjoyed a cup of She-Crab Bisque to warm us up. It was delicious, the best She-Crab Bisque we have ever eaten.

Our main courses followed soon after, and the appearance alone made me so excited to eat it. I tasted the sweet potatoes first, and they were like having a dessert.

Then, I went in for the ribs. Oh my goodness, they were fall off the bone tender and heavenly! The best meal I have ever had in Sebastian, and believe it or not, they were only $13.99 for the half rack.

Crab Cake Sandwich

My husband, who was born in Maryland, ordered the Crab Cake Sandwich, which is served on a Kaiser roll with lettuce, tomato, and tartar sauce. He chose French fries and cucumber salad as his sides.

He enjoyed his Crab Cake Sandwich but thought it was average compared to others he has eaten in Sebastian.

As if all of that food was not enough, we decided to share a slice of their warm Coconut Pie. It was cold outside, so we needed a little more warming up. Laugh out loud. But seriously, it was served warm with whip cream on both sides, and it was worth the calories!

Additionally, they offer 11 different lunch specials ranging from $7.99 – $11.99. Stop by for lunch, and ask for Johnny, you won’t regret it.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention the spectacular view of the Sebastian River from my booth. Breath-taking!

Overall, we had an enjoyable experience with our server Johnny! He went out of his way to make sure we had the best experience and meal possible.

They also serve breakfast and you can check out our Mo-Bay breakfast review from November.
