Update: Mash Monkey’s has reopened!

The Mash Monkeys Brewing Company will try to reopen this afternoon after experiencing a water leak.

“I’m optimistic of opening by 5:00 pm. That gives us time to fix it and test it,” Derek Gerry told Sebastian Daily.

Some people thought the brewery closed because of COVID-19, which is not the case.

Gerry said they’ve been trying to locate the leak since Tuesday night. On Friday, they found the problem in one of the public restrooms.

Pipe Leak

“The pipe leaking is under the concrete. Have to chip it up to fix it. Once the leak is fixed, we will reopen,” Gerry said.

There’s a lot going on this weekend at Mash Monkeys.

  • Friday @ 6:00 p.m. – Leftovers Duo
  • Saturday @ 12:00 p.m. – BBQ Down Debuts
  • Sunday @ 12:00 p.m. – Smoke on the Water (excellent food!)

Mash Monkeys is located at 920 U.S. Highway 1 in Sebastian. For more information, call 772-571-6283.
