The Las Palmas Cuban Restaurant is moving into the Publix shopping center at the corner of County Road 512 (Sebastian Blvd) and County Road 510. This is the same location where Pizza Pie & Wings used to be.
The Sebastian Cuban restaurant will be completely out of its old location next to the North County Tax office by December 31, 2019. They plan to reopen at the new location sometime in January 2020.
They are redoing parts of the ceiling, floors, walls, and installing a new stage for live entertainment. The new restaurant will have a complete Cuban theme with tables and booths.
While serving their authentic Cuban dishes, they will also have a full liquor bar and will continue their 2 for 1 drinks all day, every day.
The entertainment will include Cuban-style performances and live singing that their current location does not offer. They plan to do one show per night and will add more shows as they see fit.
“We’re going to work up a number, like a show, that we’re going to do Friday, Saturday, and Sunday,” restaurant owner Edna Gonzalez told Sebastian Daily.
We recently revisited Las Palmas and enjoyed our visit and food. We’ll have a review of the food in a couple of days.
We toured the dining room and kitchen, which is spotless and very clean. There aren’t too many restaurants that are this clean in Sebastian. They also passed their recent health inspection with an excellent rating.
