JJ Manning’s Irish Pub in Sebastian is a great neighborhood establishment with an incredible menu and beer selection.
Located in Chesser’s Gap Plaza, near the Strike Zone Bowling Alley, the Irish Pub attracts many locals for lunch and dinner. The pricing is reasonable, and the portions are large. You will never leave hungry!
The Pub has an Irish feel and a large selection of beer and wine. They offer domestic, import, and craft beer selections. Our waitress was super friendly and on top of things.
Their menu is to the point and not overwhelming with great appetizers, homemade soups, and meals. The atmosphere is friendly, and the service is prompt. It’s a neighborhood place, so don’t be surprised if you see familiar faces if you visit.
I ordered their Fish ‘n’ Chips, which is one of their most popular menu items. It comes with beer-battered cod, french fries, and coleslaw. The price was only $12.95.
The tartar sauce is homemade, and I enjoyed the flavor. The fish was lightly battered and flaky. The french fries were excellent, and I also enjoyed the coleslaw.
My wife ordered JJ’s Chicken Sandwich with mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, bacon & swiss on a fresh roll for $10.95. She chose the onion rings as her side. It was delicious and filling.
Now, for those who don’t remember, we featured the JJ’s Basic Burger in 2017 after it ranked #3 in our Best Burgers in Sebastian, Florida article.
There’s one thing that might be a deal-breaker for some, and that’s face masks. They don’t wear them, but we still felt comfortable being inside the restaurant.
I prefer IPA’s myself, so I would like to see more local IPAs from local breweries like Pareidolia Brewing Company in Sebastian. They could be beneficial in the Irish Pub.
