We recently visited the Hen House Eatery, a vibrant morning spot, to review their breakfast offerings. This popular eatery is situated in Sebastian and cherished by local residents for its tasty meals. With both indoor and outdoor seating, the Hen House provides a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
While our focus was on breakfast, it’s worth noting that this locally owned diner also serves brunch and lunch. They pride themselves on using locally sourced ingredients, including organic greens, tomatoes, eggs, and fruits obtained from Kroegel Homestead Produce in Sebastian.
Upon our arrival, we noticed many diners enjoying their breakfast dishes, setting a positive tone for our experience. Despite the busy atmosphere, we easily found an available table.
The server promptly handed us menus and took our drink orders efficiently. They have gluten free options in their menu.
For our review, we opted for the 2-2-2 menu, which includes two eggs prepared to your liking, a pair of pancakes, and a choice of two bacon strips or sausages. I decided to try the Pecan Pancakes instead of the regular option.
Our visit surpassed our expectations as our meals arrived promptly and steaming hot. The attentive waiter anticipated our needs, offering butter, syrup, and other essentials without us having to ask.
The highlight of our breakfast was undoubtedly the pancakes, generously adorned with delightful pecans cooked right into the fluffy batter. Each bite was a burst of irresistible flavor.
The eggs were prepared exactly as we requested, and the bacon was cooked to perfection, just the way I like it.
