MICCO – We visited Chubby Mullet Bar and Grill in Micco to sample their new menu and the $2 Taco Tuesday special.
We wrote about the Chubby Mullet near Sebastian recently and really enjoyed their food. The service was great, and we jumped at the chance to try their tacos.
As we walked in, the place was just as clean as when they first opened. The view of the river from the Chubby Mullet bar is spectacular. The staff will greet you at the door, and you have the option to sit anywhere you chose. The atmosphere is upbeat and pleasant.
On Tuesday, they offer $2 chicken or pork, and $3 Mahi Mahi tacos. You can have your tacos grilled, blackened or fried. The tacos come with a fresh tortilla topped with tomatoes, cabbage, cheese, pico de gallo, a southwestern sauce blend, and your choice of chicken, pork, or Mahi Mahi.
We chose the blackened Mahi-Mahi, and the chicken they both bursting with flavor. However, the Mahi was the best.
Chubby Mullet also offers a Happy Hour from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and all day Sunday. The specials include 2 for 1 drafts (Landshark, Bud Light, Amberbock) and house wine.
Located near Sebastian, the Chubby Mullet bar and grill is inside the Sebastian Inlet Marina at 8685 U.S. Highway 1 in Micco.
