There are plenty of excellent seafood restaurants in Sebastian, such as Blackfins at Captain Hirams Resort, Crab E Bills, Mo-Bay Grill, and Mulligan’s Beach House.
But, Capt’n Butchers has become the best waterfront seafood restaurant in Sebastian, Florida. Their food and service stand out from the rest, and the water view with the Sebastian Inlet in the distance is breathtaking.
They provide indoor and outdoor seating, two bars, one inside and outside, with plenty of seating. The outside bar is very popular with a view of Archie Smith Fish House Conservation Area. The Smith property is an important remnant of the once-flourishing working waterfront of the town of Sebastian.
We visit restaurants frequently because things do change, but Capt’n Butchers has stayed consistent with their food. We have never had a bad meal there whatsoever. We have ordered appetizers, steak, fish, and it is consistent every visit.
Seafood is their specialty, although we loved their steaks too. The menu items can be a bit pricey with the catch of the day but well worth the extra money. We also enjoyed their crab cakes!
Service can be slow during busy hours, especially from 5-7 pm for dinners on Friday evenings; however, no one seems to mind. There is usually live entertainment on the outdoor deck.
