SEBASTIAN – Local band Nightfly released their new CD on Sunday at the Tiki Bar & Grill in Sebastian.
People from all over Indian River County and the state arrived at Tiki to purchase the band’s debut original album “Honey Jelly Jam.” Nightfly donated 15 percent of their CD sales to St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a non-profit organization that raises funds to help find cures for children with cancer.
“Only 4% of U.S. federal funding is solely dedicated to childhood cancer research. Nightfly is releasing a new CD today and is donating 15% of their sales to childhood cancer research. Think about that. It’s staggering numbers. These are our children, and we should be donating so much more. We thank Nightfly,” said Frank Mannino, local volunteer event organizer for St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
“It was a wonderful day. The weather was perfect, and we had a great turnout of friends, family and fans and thank them all for their support. So happy we could team up with Saint Baldricks to help with a wonderful cause,” said Nightfly’s lead vocalist Dianne Moore.
Nightfly plays a style of music that they call “funk and roll,” and it’s very addicting. People enjoy watching the band perform as much as dancing, and that’s another reason why people were at the Sebastian Tiki Bar & Grill to buy the band’s album.
“Couldn’t have gone better! Love this town and our peeps,” Nightfly band member Seth Bernstein said.

Three Dog Night drummer Pat Bautz played the drums on and produced the band’s “Honey Jelly Jam” album.
