The numbers are still improving in our area of Sebastian, Barefoot Bay, Micco, Grant, Fellsmere. There are some concerns in Vero Beach.

However, we still need to wash our hands, social distance, and wear a mask. These guidelines are working in Florida.

The number of hospitalizations in Florida have also dropped by nearly 1,000 since last week.

As you can see, the number of deaths are dropping across the state.

  • Grant-Valkaria: 25 cases
  • Fellsmere: 395 cases
  • Wabasso: 8 cases
  • Vero Beach: 2,056 cases (this number also includes Vero Lake Estates and other rural areas near Vero Beach)

  • Deaths: 104
  • Admitted to Hospital: 272

Brevard County Coronavirus Cases

  • Cases: 7,968
  • Deaths: 236
  • Admitted to Hospital: 694
