Health officials are reporting 1 death related to COVID-19 in Indian River County. This is the latest coronavirus update from Sebastian, Florida.

Indian River County has a population of 154,000. The patients are 39 men and 29 women between the ages of 8 to 94.

Brevard County has a population of 590,000. The patients are 58 men and 57 women between the ages of 1 to 94.

Sebastian

All County-operated playgrounds, along with those operated by the cities of Vero Beach, Sebastian, and Fellsmere, will be closed until further notice. However, all parks and conservation areas will remain open, as well as restroom facilities located at those parks and conservation areas.

Cleveland Clinic, Indian River Hospital, is providing drive-through testing by appointments from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week. To make an appointment, call the hospital at 772-226-4846.

For now, if you are 65 or older, or have an illness or chronic condition, please stay home.
