The Sebastian Police Department C.O.P.E. Unit will be having a Movie Night on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. at Riverview Park in Sebastian.

The movie they will be featuring is The Secret Life of Pets 2. They encourage everyone to bring blankets and chairs. Free popcorn for kids will be supplied.

Sebastian Police Department C.O.P.E. Unit

The Sebastian Police Department C.O.P.E. Unit’s mission is to form partnerships that bind the community and the Sebastian Police Department together.

Their focus is to develop and employ proactive crime prevention strategies with community involvement and education, in addition to forming bonds between the police, the citizens, and businesses of Sebastian.

The Sebastian Police Department hosts these special events several times each month to meet with citizens face-to-face in one-on-one encounters.

C.O.P.E. Unit Activities

The Sebastian Police Department C.O.P.E. Unit activities include the radKIDS Program, Movie Night at Riverview Park, Sebastian Police Citizen’s Academy, Sebastian Community Night Out, Crime Prevention & Protection Programs, Community Outreach Trailer Events, Police Explorer Post, Toys-4-Tots Toy Drive, T3 Patrol, Problem-Oriented Policing Projects, S.A.F.E. Women and R.A.D. Women.

The C.O.P.E. unit staff includes Officer Jason Gillette & Officer Donald Hart.
