SEBASTIAN — Pareidolia Brewing Company will host its annual Fat Tuesday bash on Feb. 17, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the brewery. The event promises Creole dishes, King Cakes, French Quarter music and dancing.
The tradition of Fat Tuesday stems from the practice of using up rich foods like butter, eggs and sugar before the start of Lent. Celebrations worldwide, particularly in New Orleans, feature parades, costumes and parties with music ranging from Dixieland jazz and Cajun tunes to blues, R&B and brass bands.
Pareidolia Brewing aims to capture that spirit in Sebastian, with live performances, themed food and festive vibes.
Live Music
The brewery will feature music from Mojo Mike and friends, along with James Bozzi on saxophone and Christine and Stingray Noel on drums and guitar. Attendees are encouraged to dress up and join in the dancing.
Orleans Dishes
A special menu will highlight classic New Orleans favorites, served alongside the lively tunes to keep the energy high.
King Cake
No Mardi Gras is complete without King Cake, baked by Penny. The cinnamon-filled pastry comes topped with icing and sprinkles in purple, green and gold — the traditional colors. Watch out for the hidden plastic baby; finding it brings good luck but may mean hosting the next gathering.
The event offers a taste of authentic Mardi Gras, complete with steaming Creole eats, people-watching and surprise-filled treats at Pareidolia Brewing Co.
