H.A.L.O. No-Kill Rescue will be having its 5th Annual Chase Your Tail 5K Run/Walk to raise awareness for no-kill animal rescue on April 23, 2022, starting at 7:30 am. All runners, walkers, and dogs are welcome to participate.
The Chase Your Tail 5K Race will begin at the Sebastian Community Center and continue along Indian River Drive. Participants can enjoy music and entertainment before and after the race.

- Top 3 in age groups: 10 & under, 10 – 19, 20 – 29, 30 – 39, 40 – 49, 50 – 59, 60 – 69, 70 & over.
Packet Pickup
- Friday, April 22, 2022, from 10 am – 5 pm at Runner’s Depot located at 436 21st St., in Vero Beach.
- Saturday, April 23, 2022, from 6:30 am – 7:20 am at the Community Center, located at 1805 N Central Ave, in Sebastian.
Virtual 5K
The virtual 5K participants can run the 5K anywhere and anytime. So, choose a safe course, social distance, and have fun. You can submit your virtual 5K results starting on Saturday, April 23, 2022, through Sunday, May 1, 2022, at 11:59 pm. Submit your virtual 5K results here.
- Pick up your packet at one of the packet pickup locations or the morning of the race, but run independently.
- H.A.L.O. will ship your “Chase Your Tail” race shirt to you with no cost for shipping.
