Sebastian is the place to be this week with two awesome events that won’t cost you a dime! Get ready for a free nutrition class and a starry night at a fun Star-Gaze event.
Nutrition Class at the Community Center
On Friday, May 2, 2025, the Treasure Coast Food Bank is hosting a free nutrition class at the City of Sebastian Community Center from noon to 1 p.m.
This “lunch and learn” happens every month, and while lunch isn’t provided, you’ll get to watch a food demo, try a small tasting, and take home a recipe.
Topics include:
- How to add more fruits and veggies to your meals
- Tips for eating healthy without spending a lot
- Smart choices when eating out
- How to control portion sizes
- Ways to cut back on salt and sugar

Star-Gaze Party at Riverview Park
On Saturday, May 3, 2025, the Treasure Coast Astronomical Society and the City of Sebastian are throwing a free Star-Gaze event at Riverview Park from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Bring your friends and family to look at the stars through telescopes and learn about the night sky. Plus, the Strong Island Ice Cream truck will be there selling tasty treats!
