MICCO — The community of Barefoot Bay is getting ready for the 8th Annual Barefoot by the Lake Music, Art and Food Festival, happening Feb. 13 and 14 from 11 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. each day over at 625 Barefoot Blvd.
This no-cost, family-oriented gathering features live music, local crafts from 75 artisan vendors, tasty bites from various food trucks, plus a special Kid Party Zone running Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
So, come out and soak up the relaxed lakeside atmosphere, complete with shady areas and fun for everyone, young and old. It’s a great way to showcase Barefoot Bay’s lively creative community, yummy food, and local performers.

- 11:00 am – DJ Russ Gagner: An energetic MC and DJ based in Sebastian, known for hosting karaoke nights at local venues like Sebastian Riverfront Vape & Taphouse and Grant Eagles FOE 4527.
- 1:00 pm – Electric Tree Frogs: These local favorites perform live music, including covers of classic rock like The Moody Blues, at venues such as Captain Hiram’s Resort and Earl’s Hideaway. The group has expanded to include bass, drums, and keyboards for a fuller sound.
- 6:00 pm – Switch w/Ana: Switch featuring Ana is Brevard’s premier dance party band from Central Florida, fronted by the vocal talents of Ana Aguiar. The group, which includes Gary Kirby, Paul Beach, and Sammy Hill, performs energetic live shows at venues like Captain Hiram’s.

- 1:00 pm – Greg & Brian: Greg & Brian are a musical duo based in Sebastian known for performing classic rock and top 40 covers at local venues, including Captain Hiram’s Resort and Tiki Bar and Grill. They are also renowned for their Elton John tribute act, Greggie & The Jets, which features additional band members and has performed at events like the Seven Seas Food Festival at SeaWorld Orlando.
- 6:00 pm – Shovelhed: Shovelhed is a four-piece classic hard rock cover band from Vero Beach. The group performs at local venues, including Earl’s Hideaway Lounge.

🏀 Kid’s Fun Zone (Saturday 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
Make sure to bring your kids and grandchildren to the event on Saturday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, as the Kids Fun Zone will feature face painting, fairy hair, Space Coast Obstacle Course, and a giant blow-Up: baseball, football & basketball challenge.
