The VFW 10210 and American Legion Post 189 of Sebastian hosted their annual Veterans Day Memorial on Wednesday at Riverview Veterans Park.
The turnout was great, and most people wore face masks and practiced social distancing during the memorial service.

Rav Michael Birnholz, Rabbi at Temple Beth Shalom of Vero Beach, did the invocation. Also present was retired Army Veteran Col. Patty Ryan as the guest speaker, and Fr. Dave Newhart, a Director on the Board for the Veterans Council of IRC, for the Benediction.
Sebastian area honor guard and Micheal Hyde, bagpiper, and merchant marine was also present.
Sebastian Mayor Ed Dodd, City Manager Paul Carlisle, Police Chief Dan Acosta, Indian River County Sheriff Eric Flowers, County Commissioner Joe Flescher, and Council members Fred Jones and Chris Nunn were also present.
