The City of Sebastian is seeking vendors to participate in the 2025 Earth Day and Arbor Day Celebration at Riverview Park on Saturday, April 26, 2025, promising an eco-conscious day filled with fun for all ages.
Vendor applications are still open for those interested in getting more involved. Local businesses and artisans can showcase their goods or services by filling out an application online.
This annual community event, set to run from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, is an event that celebrates environmental stewardship while bringing together locals, vendors, and organizations for a day of entertainment, education, and sustainable living.
The event will offer live entertainment, a variety of food and retail vendors offering tasty treats and eco-friendly goods, and a slew of family-friendly activities designed to inspire the next generation of green advocates. Environmental organizations will also be on hand, sharing resources and insights on how to protect and preserve our planet.
Adding to the festivities, the Waste Management Recycling & Spring Cleaning Event will run concurrently from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, giving residents a chance to kick off their spring refresh with purpose.
At Riverview Park, a Paper Shredding & Electronic Recycling Event will help locals securely dispose of sensitive documents and old electronics. (Pro tip: Organizers warn that the longest wait times typically occur between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM, so plan accordingly!)
Meanwhile, over at the Barber Street Sports Complex, the Spring Cleaning Event will tackle large household items. This year, the City of Sebastian is teaming up with BikeWalk IRC for a special initiative: a bicycle collection drive for their Bike Rehab Program. Gently used bikes will be refurbished and redistributed to those in need, while any beyond repair will be responsibly recycled by Waste Management.
Join the fun, support the planet, and make a difference right here in Sebastian!
