The Environmental Learning Center is hosting a Perseid Meteor Shower 2021 & Star Party on Saturday, August 7, 2021, from 7 pm – 10 pm. They will offer viewing from high-powered telescopes, a space-themed presentation, a storytime, a craft for children, food trucks, and more.
The shower will be particularly spectacular because it coincides near the new moon, making the sky exceptionally dark for optimal viewing.
Attendees Should Bring:
- Blanket or Chair
- Pair of Binoculars
Pre-registration is required, and admission is $5 per person.

In the event of inclement weather, a backup date has been reserved for Saturday, August 14, 2021, from 7 pm – 10 pm.
