SEBASTIAN – H.A.L.O Animal No-Kill Rescue Shelter is hosting their 1st 5K Run/Walk to raise awareness for no-kill animal rescue.
The 5K will start Saturday, January 6, 2018, 7:30 a.m. at the Sebastian Community Center located at 1805 N Central Ave, in Sebastian and travel along the beautiful Indian River. Registration opens at 6:30 a.m.
It is $25 to register, and it ends January 4, 2018, at 11:59 a.m. Each entry will receive a race packet, a pawsome “Chase Your Tail” t-shirt, a gift bag filled with goodies, and a scrumptious meal after the race.
Dog Tag’s/Prizes will be given out for the overall male & female winners, age group awards 3 deep in each of the following age groups: (10 & Under) (10-19) (20-29) (30-39) (40-49) (50-59) (60-69) (70 & over), & the youngest finisher.
There will also be a gift basket awarded for the best dressed in animal print.
