Bank of America unveiled an exciting new program called Golf with Us, aimed at getting kids ages 6 to 18 swinging on golf courses across the country.
The initiative, announced on April 20, 2025, offers young players a free one-year membership to Youth on Course, a nonprofit that makes golf affordable for kids.
The six local golf courses partnering with Golf on Us are:
- Fairwinds Golf Course, 4400 Fairwinds Drive, Fort Pierce
- The Shores of North River Golf Club, 1827 NW Pine Lake Drive, Stuart
- Martin Downs, 3801 SW Greenwood Way, Palm City
- The Champions Club at Summerfield, 3400 SE Summerfield Way, Stuart
- Sebastian Golf Club, 100 Brush Foot Drive, Sebastian
- Sandridge Golf Club – Lakes Course, 5300 73rd Street, Vero Beach
Through Golf with Us, enrolled kids can play at thousands of golf courses in 97 markets for just $5 or less per round. Families have until May 24, 2025, to sign up at Youth on Course.
The program also includes a registered handicap index with the United States Golf Association and access to learning opportunities to help kids improve their game.
“When kids get involved in sports, they learn first-hand about achieving their goals and develop lifelong skills that help them thrive,” said David Tyrie, President, Marketing, Digital & Specialized Consumer Client Solutions at Bank of America. “By working with Youth on Course to help make golf more accessible, we’re helping grow the sport while also making a positive impact in our communities.”
In addition to affordable golf, Golf with Us will host free clinics in select cities this spring, summer, and fall. These events will feature professional golfers, athletes, and even celebrities who love the sport, offering kids a chance to learn from the pros.
“Golf has the power to shape young lives in incredible ways – not just through the sport itself, but through the friendships, confidence and opportunities it creates,” said Youth on Course CEO Adam Heieck. “Through this partnership with Bank of America, we’re making it possible for more kids across the country to step onto the course and discover what’s possible. This partnership is about more than just golf; it’s about opening doors and changing futures.”
The program is part of a bigger partnership between Bank of America and Youth on Course to make golf more available, especially at public courses. So far, over 2,000 courses nationwide are part of the Youth on Course network. Bank of America is also helping fund the expansion of these affordable golf locations.
To spread the word, Bank of America will air commercials for Golf with Us during the Masters Tournament, where the bank is a major partner. The company has a long history with golf, supporting events like the Augusta National Women’s Amateur and the More Than Golf Invitational with the ANNIKA Foundation, led by legendary golfer Annika Sorenstam.
Bank of America, one of the world’s top banks, serves millions of customers with banking, investing, and other financial services. Youth on Course, based in Monterey, California, has helped kids play over 4 million rounds of golf since 2006. Together, they’re working to make golf a sport for everyone.
