There’s been a lot of discussion around town about whether or not Squid Lips in Sebastian is going to reopen after closing a couple of months ago.
“We plan to be open by Valentine’s Day—assuming we don’t have any more unanticipated problems,” Buz Underhill of Squid Lips told Sebastian Daily.
The River Deck, the new building on the shoreline just North of Squid Lips, is open for business. Across the street is their new BBQ place called Lip Lickers, which is also open.
Rumors have swirled about the fate of the building, with some locals speculating that the popular spot might not reopen. While the initial closure was intended to be brief, addressing only minor repairs, unexpected delays have extended the timeline.
Squid Lips is a popular waterfront restaurant and bar located in Sebastian, Florida. It’s known for its casual atmosphere, seafood-focused menu, and beautiful views of the waterfront. They specialize in fresh seafood dishes, with popular items like their Cajun Bacon Wrapped Scallops and Smoked Fish Dip. But they also offer other options like burgers, chicken, and ribs.
