To expedite post-Hurricane Milton debris removal, the City of Sebastian and Indian River County will be conducting separate clean-up efforts over the next two weeks.
Schedule:
- City of Sebastian Residents: Starting Sunday, October 20th
- Indian River County Unincorporated Residents: Starting Monday, October 21st
Please Note:
- If your neighborhood has a homeowners’ association (HOA), please contact them directly to determine if their specific debris removal arrangements are in place.
- Both the City of Sebastian and Indian River County contractors will make a single pass to collect debris.
- Please place your hurricane debris at the curb without bags.
- Do not leave debris on sidewalks, in swale areas, near fire hydrants, or under light poles.
- Hurricane related debris only! Please separate brush from other debris like fences, etc.
By following these guidelines, the trucks can efficiently clear debris and help our communities recover from Hurricane Milton.
