VERO BEACH – Elite Airways will return the round-trip destinations to and from Vero Beach and Portland this spring, a move that could become year-round flights.
The airline announced that Sunday flights between Vero Beach Regional Airport and Portland International Jetport will begin May 6, 2018. Thursday departures will begin June 7, 2018.
Elite Airways flights begin at $199 each way between Vero Beach and Portland.
The spring routes from Vero Beach to Asheville, North Carolina and White Plains, New York begin in April.

John Pearsall, Elite Airways President, said the airline wants to keep the route year-round.
“We’re trying to give (Vero Beach) a lot more services,” Pearsall said. “Vero Beach has been such a success for Elite.”
Elite Airways already serves the New York City market, with flights to Newark Liberty International Airport from Vero Beach.
