SEBASTIAN, Fla. — Sebastian will see a mostly mild and dry week, with highs hovering in the mid- to upper 70s and a slight chance of showers kicking things off on Tuesday.
The National Weather Service predicts comfortable conditions overall in Sebastian, with lows in the 50s and low 60s at night, offering a break from the humidity that often lingers in the region this time of year.
Tuesday, we’ll see gloomy skies with showers late in the day. There will be a high of 71 degrees, a low around 62, and about a 21% chance of precipitation totaling about 0.06 inches. Winds will blow out of the north at around 10 mph, keeping humidity at 66%. That’s a bit cooler than the seasonal average of 75 degrees for early December, according to climate records.
Things will clear up on Wednesday with partly cloudy skies and a high reaching 76 degrees. Our overnight lows will drop to 58, with minimal wind at 6 mph and just a 2% chance of any rain. Humidity will ease to 60%, making it ideal for beach walks or boating on the Indian River Lagoon.
On Thursday, we will have scattered clouds and drier air, with temperatures topping out at 73 degrees and falling to a crisp 49 at night. No precipitation is expected, and light winds of 6 mph are expected to prevail. This aligns with broader forecasts showing a low risk of rain around 55% in some models, though actual conditions look favorable.
Mostly cloudy skies dominate Friday, Dec. 12, but it stays dry with a high of 74 and a low of 50. Winds remain gentle at 5 mph, and humidity ticks up slightly to 58%.
The weekend starts with overcast conditions on Saturday, Dec. 13, with highs at 77 degrees and lows at 57 degrees. No rain is in the outlook, with 8 mph winds and 55% humidity. That’s warmer than earlier in the week, matching long-term patterns for mid-December.
Sunday, Dec. 14, follows suit with overcast weather, a high of 78, and a low of 61. Winds at 7 mph and humidity around 60% round out the day, still dry overall despite a 45% precipitation risk in some extended outlooks.
