Weekend weather in Sebastian, Florida.

Weekend weather in Sebastian, Florida.

This morning’s cooler air is quite a change from last week’s warm weather, but the weekend will be perfect in Sebastian, Florida. We will have sunny skies, increased winds, and no rain in our forecast.

We can expect those higher winds out of the north to begin Friday at speeds of 10 to 15 mph and gusts as high as 20 mph. Winds will then reduce to 5 to 10 mph on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Here’s a look at the daily forecasts (Highs/Lows):

We will only see rain beginning Tuesday of next week, but it’s still only a 20 percent chance. So far, next week looks great, but it’s still too early to predict. We’ll have another forecast by Monday.

The weather will be great for all the Sebastian events going on this weekend.

Cold Front

The National Weather Service says a cold front has shifted south, giving us the North/Northwest winds and ushering in a drier and cooler airmass into Sebastian.

“Highs will actually be close to normal for this time of year, if not a degree or two below, with values in the upper 60s to low 70s. N/NW winds will range around 5-10 mph across the interior and up to 10-15 mph along the coast, with breezy conditions possible into the morning/early afternoon beachside,” the National Weather Service said in a statement.

Boaters

There’s a small craft advisory for Friday, which will be lifted by Saturday. Seas are 2 to 4 feet and expected to reduce to 2 to 3 feet on Saturday and Sunday.
