The owner of Rosie’s Bottoms Up in Micco was arrested Thursday on 2 felony charges of evading state sales tax and filing a false return. Rose Turnquist told investigators in November that she had the money, but that her bank account was frozen by the state. She collected over $28,000 in sales tax but never paid the state.
More restaurants are opening on Monday and rehiring workers.
