AccuWeather predicts an above-average year for the 2020 Atlantic hurricane season. From June 1 to Nov. 30, they predict 7 to 9 hurricanes, 2 to 4 of them becoming major hurricanes.
In coronavirus news, there are now 13 confirmed coronavirus cases in Indian River County, and 13 confirmed cases in Brevard County.
Numbers are low, but also keep in mind the that 145 people tested negative for the virus. There are no deaths in the county at this time.
Florida now has 2,355 active cases with 28 deaths. About 1,665 people are being monitored in the state of Florida at this time.
About 20,165 Floridians tested negative for coronavirus. There are 1,443 cases still pending.
