The scheduled closure for the railroad crossing at Main Street has been postponed until June 1, 2022, through June 15, 2022.
Similar to the Sebastian Boulevard schedule, Main Street will be shut down for two weeks beginning June 1.
The City of Sebastian will also update motorists on its Electronic Message Boards at City Hall and Riverview Park seven days before construction.
Brightline spokesperson Katie Mitzner told Sebastian Daily the upgrades are part of company’s $2.7 billion improvements to provide higher-speed passenger service.
