Brightline will temporarily close the railroad crossing for Main Street and Old Dixie Highway in Sebastian for upgrades.
The railroad crossing at Old Dixie Highway, south of Sebastian near Sebastian Roadside Restaurant, will be closed from April 18th through April 27th.
The railroad crossing at Main Street will be closed from April 23rd through May 6th.

Brightline spokesperson Katie Mitzner told Sebastian Daily the upgrades are part of Brightline’s $2.7 billion improvements to provide higher-speed passenger service.
Passenger trains will soon be traveling at 110 mph through Sebastian.
