In the ongoing plan to upgrade the railroad crossings in Sebastian, Brightline will shut down Barber Street from Friday, May 13, 2022, through Monday, May 23, 2022.
Please plan alternate routes of travel during this time.
In addition, Main Street will be closed from June 1, 2022, through June 15, 2022.
The City of Sebastian will also update motorists on its Electronic Message Boards at City Hall and Riverview Park seven days before construction.
Brightline spokesperson Katie Mitzner told Sebastian Daily the upgrades are part of the company’s $2.7 billion improvements to provide higher-speed passenger service.
