City Manager Paul Carlisle is urging motorists to avoid the intersections of Main Street and Sebastian Blvd (CR-512, both east and west) due to malfunctioning railroad crossings.
Commuters and residents are strongly advised to seek alternative routes until the situation is resolved.
The railroad crossings at Schumann Drive, Barber Street, and Roseland Road are currently operating smoothly.
The city has taken immediate action by reaching out to the railroad, which is currently mobilizing to rectify the problem this morning.
