SEBASTIAN — Former Sebastian River High School quarterback Ian Snow shattered a Nichols College record with 580 passing yards and nine touchdowns Saturday, but his Bison fell 92-60 to Coast Guard in a non-conference shootout that set an NCAA Division III mark for combined points at Cadet Memorial Field.
Snow completed 28 of 44 passes in the loss, tying the program’s single-game touchdown mark while adding two rushing scores for a total of 9. The teams’ 152 points topped the previous Division III record of 150.
The 6-foot-3 football player added two rushing touchdowns on 17 carries for 35 yards. His aerial performance surpassed the previous Nichols single-game passing mark and tied the school’s record for touchdown passes in a game. Despite the Bison’s offensive explosion, Coast Guard’s attack proved overwhelming, amassing 775 total yards and setting academy records for points (92), total offense and passing yards (508).

The combined 152 points eclipsed the Division III record of 150 set in 1993 between North Park and North Central, marking a new benchmark in regulation play. The unique final score also qualified as “scorigami,” the first time in 157 years of college football across all NCAA divisions that a game ended 92-60.
Snow connected repeatedly with receiver Jack Morvan, who hauled in 11 catches for 314 yards and six touchdowns, including strikes of 38, 5, 28, 29, 75 and 10 yards. Snow’s ground scores came on 1-yard plunges in the third and fourth quarters.
Snow, who also played lacrosse and ran track at Sebastian River High School, was an all-star selection in high school and graduated with honors. His performance earned him Conference of New England Offensive Player of the Week honors.
In college, Snow appeared in eight games as a junior in 2024, completing 98 of 158 passes (62%) for 1,567 yards and 15 touchdowns while rushing for four scores; he threw for a career-high 426 yards and four touchdowns against Coast Guard on Sept. 21. As a sophomore in 2023, he appeared in seven games and completed two passes for 9 yards. Snow made his collegiate debut as a freshman in 2022, appearing in one game during a win over Westfield State on Sept. 2.
Nichols hosts New England College next Saturday in its conference opener.
